Community Areas

There are two community areas, Guestbook and Discussion Board, for which additional terms apply.

Discussion Board

To use the moderated Discussion Board you must register for an account by submitting your name, e-mail address, username and password. Further, you agree to use the discussion board in accordance with the following additional rules:

• Your contributions must be polite, constructive and lawful, and not distressing, defamatory, malicious, abusive, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive or otherwise objectionable.
• You must not impersonate other people or organisations, nor should you disclose any personal information (for example, telephone number and home address) about yourself or anyone else.
• You must not use multiple logins for the purpose of disrupting the discussion board or annoying other users.
• You must be patient, users of all ages and abilities may be taking part in the discussions.
• You must not advertise products or services except where expressly permitted, but you may make recommendations.
• You must not choose a user name that is vulgar, offensive, etc.
• You consent to others contacting you by e-mail if you disclose your e-mail address or allow private messaging.
• You must not send offensive or inappropriate content to the board administrator, moderators or any members.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password, and for restricting access to your computer. You accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your username.
• You must not infringe the rights of third parties including copyright, privacy, personal or proprietary rights.
• You accept that the views expressed in the discussion board are those of the contributors and are not necessarily those of the webmaster or moderators.
• If you are under 16 years old, you must seek the permission of a parent, guardian or teacher before making contributions or taking part in any discussion.
• Spamming is not allowed.
• Try to avoid cross-posting and off-topic posting.
• The webmaster reserves the right to edit or delete any contribution, or take action against any account, at any time, for any reason. This right may also be delegated to moderators.

Private messages may be sent by one member to another through the board. In addition to the above rules, the webmaster reserves the right to monitor these messages.

If you believe another member has broken these rules, please inform one of the Board Moderators.

Guestbook

To use the Guestbook you agree to the following additional rules:

• Your contributions must be polite, constructive and lawful, and not mean-spirited, distressing, defamatory, malicious, abusive, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive or otherwise objectionable.
• You must not impersonate other people or organisations, nor should you disclose any personal information (for example, telephone number and home address) about yourself or anyone else.
• You must provide a valid e-mail address. The e-mail address will be “munged”, i.e. altered to make it less usable for spamming purposes.
• Spamming and off-topic posts are not allowed.
• You must not advertise products or services.
• The webmaster reserves the right to edit or delete any contribution, or take action against any account, at any time, for any reason.
