Coed Hafod Y Llyn

Coed Hafod Y Llyn is an SSSI owned by the Woodland Trust and is located at Maentwrog, North Wales.

This ancient upland oakwood was once owned by a local estate and was planted with many ornamental trees, the Woodland Trust has removed and thinned many of the non-native trees and is replacing them with oak and birch.

The reserve is in Snowdonia National Park and is next Llyn Mair, an ornamental pond, and is dissected by the Ffestiniog Narrow Gauge Railway.
