British Garden Birds has evolved from being a winter's day project to learn about web publishing to a leading and award winning reference for casual and dedicated garden birdwatchers, but also teachers and schoolchildren.
For each of the species (see bird guide) there are:
I've also included supplementary information on bird matters, such as bird biology, feeding and optical equipment, and some links to other web sites that may be of interest.
There is even a quiz for you to test your identification skills and, if you want to discuss something with like minded garden birdwatchers, there is a discussion board.
There are also field reports on the birds that I have seen on field trips, which may encourage you to go and watch the birds in habitats other than your garden.
I hope you enjoy looking around British Garden Birds and, if you wish, you may leave your comments in the guestbook.
Finally, if you want to know more about myself, I've included a brief biography.
